An independent research project under the supervision of a faculty member,
through which students gain experience in advanced molecular biology techniques.
BIO 501 Advanced Molecular Biology (Ileri Molekuler

Advanced topics related to chromatin organization, role of chromatin modelling
during gene expression and regulation, mRNA transport, translation mechanisms
(cap -dependent/-independent), structure of ribosome and tRNA, special
emphasis on transcriptional and translational checkpoints, ribosome shunting,
RNA silencing and mRNA decay mechanisms.
