The Archaeometry Research Center (ARC) supports both basic and applied interdisciplinary research projects into man-environment-materials development throughout the course of history. The Center organizes cultural and educational activities to emphasize the importance of our heritage and man-environment interactions to the public. This goal is achieved through the Center's publications, seminars, exhibits and related activities. The Center also produces audio-visual materials and offers courses in archaeometry and related fields. The Center's facilities are available to archaeologists, museums and
the like to assist them in archaeometric techniques such as laboratory
analysis and conservation, dating, field work, geophysical surveys and
training personnel.
